Workspace-level settings live in two places: Settings → General holds Timezone, Date Format, and Language; the Company Name is set under Companies. Date Format also governs how imports must format dates. Each company is independent — switching the top-right company selector switches the settings you see.

Before you start

  • You need Administrator access (Owner or Privileged Administrator).
  • Confirm you're in the right company/workspace (top-right selector) before changing anything. Companies don't share data — each can have different settings.

Change Timezone, Date Format, or Language

  1. Go to Settings → General.
  2. Update any of:
    • Timezone — the workspace timezone, used for display and as a baseline for reminder timing.
    • Date Format — choose dd-mm-yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, or yyyy-mm-dd.
    • Language — the interface language.
  3. Save.

After changing Date Format, your import files must use the same format — see Import failed or partial import.

Change the company (workspace) name

The company name isn't in Settings → General — it lives under Companies.

  1. Go to Companies.
  2. Open the company you want to rename.
  3. Update the Company Name.
  4. Save.

The default company is named General until renamed. After renaming, the top-right selector and any places that show the workspace name update accordingly.

A note on logos

Settings → General does not include a workspace logo upload. The logo controls you'll see in the product are inside email templates — for example, a "Show Remindax Logo" toggle on email template settings. A custom workspace logo upload isn't part of the current product.

A note on timezone behavior

Timezone behaves in layers in Remindax:

  • Settings → General → Timezone sets the workspace's timezone.
  • Items and reminder sequences can also have timezone handling, which is why send times feel "per sequence" in practice for many users.

If a notification arrives at an unexpected hour, check both the workspace timezone and the timezone shown on the relevant reminder/sequence.

What happens next

  • Display changes (timezone, date format, language) take effect immediately.
  • A new date format applies to displayed dates and to imports from this point on — past data isn't transformed, just displayed in the new format.
  • Each company keeps its own settings — switching the top-right selector switches the context entirely.

Edge cases & gotchas

  • Date format and imports. Switching the workspace date format also switches what your import files must use. Update any prepared import files before re-importing — see Import failed or partial import.
  • Company name is in Companies, not Settings. A common mis-search — the field isn't on Settings → General.
  • No logo upload at the workspace level. A "Show Remindax Logo" toggle on email templates is the related control that does exist.
  • Each company has its own settings. A change in one company doesn't carry over to another.
