The Calendar module shows your reminders on a date grid with four views — Year, Month, Week, Day — plus an automatic List Week view on mobile. Use the toolbar to switch views and navigate, click a day to quick-add a new reminder, or click an existing event to open it. Calendar can also sync to Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar via My Settings.

Toolbar and navigation

The Calendar header has an Add Reminder button (with a plus icon) for quickly adding a new reminder.

The toolbar inside the calendar offers:

  • Previous / Next — move backward or forward.
  • Today — jump to today.
  • Add Event — start a new entry.
  • Center title — the current period.
  • View switcher — Year, Month, Week, Day.

On smaller screens (mobile / tablet), the calendar automatically switches to List Week for readability, even though List Week isn't shown as a toolbar button.

The four views

ViewUse for
YearAnnual overview — see the year's expirations at a glance.
MonthStandard monthly grid — the default.
WeekA 7-day timeline with hours. Best for Appointments and Events.
DayA single day's timeline with hours. Best for a packed day.

Click a day → quick-add

Clicking a day on the Calendar opens the quick-add modal. You can also drag-select a date range to pre-fill start and end dates.

The quick-add modal lets you enter:

  • Title
  • Reminder type
  • For Appointments and Events: Start time and End time

Hit Save to create the item, or Open Full Form to redirect to the full reminder creation form with the date and any details pre-filled.

Click an existing event

Clicking an existing event on the calendar opens the event in a new window for you to view or edit.

How Calendar differs from other views

  • Calendar — date-oriented. Best for seeing what's coming when and adding new items in context.
  • Explorer — flat list, filterable. Best for finding and acting on many at once.
  • Dashboard — counts and Compliance. Best for the state of the workspace at a glance.

Filters

The Calendar page itself doesn't expose user-facing filters. What appears is governed by your access permissions — tasks are included only if you have permission to view tasks, and task events for non-master users are scoped to the current user. The visible content reflects your role/permissions automatically.

Sync to Google or Outlook

Remindax has direct Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar integrations under My Settings. You can connect either (or both), choose which target calendar to sync to, and disconnect when you no longer need it. See Sync Remindax to Google or Outlook Calendar.

There is no .ics / webcal feed in the current product — sync is via Google or Outlook OAuth integration, not a subscription URL.

What happens next

  • Click a day or drag-select a range to quick-add a reminder.
  • Click an existing event to open and edit it.
  • Switch views (Year / Month / Week / Day) to match the time scale you need.
  • Connect Google or Outlook in My Settings if you want events mirrored to your external calendar.

Edge cases & gotchas

  • Time zone is from the reminder sequence and workspace settings, not the Calendar itself. The Calendar shows the date the item is set to; when the recipient is actually notified follows the workspace/sequence timezone. See How notifications & sequences fit together.
  • Archived items don't appear on the Calendar — they're outside the active list.
  • Count display uses FullCalendar's dayMaxEvents — when a day has many items, the Calendar collapses them with a "more" link, rather than a count bubble like the dashboard mini-calendar.
  • No .ics feed. External sync is by Google or Outlook OAuth integration; you can't subscribe to a URL.
  • Filters aren't surfaced. What appears is governed by your access permissions; there's no filter drawer on the Calendar.
