Explorer — Your Universal Reminder List

Explorer is the universal, file-manager-style view of every reminder and folder in your workspace. It's where you find items, filter them, and take action. Unlike the Dashboard (which shows summary counts) or the Calendar (which is date-oriented), Explorer is the flat browsable list where day-to-day reminder work happens.

How to Filter, Search, and Sort in Explorer

Use the search bar at the top of Explorer to find items across many fields (title, folder, document type, custom field values, tags, attached file names, IDs). Use the blue Filter button (funnel icon) for structured filters (reminder type, document type, status, date period). Sort with the sort dropdown — Explorer column headers are not clickable for sorting. The item count at the header updates with your filter.

How to Show or Hide Columns in Explorer

Click the Columns button at the top right of Explorer and tick the columns you want visible (untick those you don't). Your choices are remembered in your browser so the same view appears next time you open Explorer. Column order itself is fixed — you can hide and show columns, but not drag them into a new order.

How to Export Reminders

There are two different export mechanisms in Remindax. The main one is the Export page (sidebar → Reminders → Export), which produces a structured .xlsx workbook for a chosen folder and time period — with fixed columns including custom fields, document types, sequences, and Drive file IDs. The other is the Export Results button on table-style screens (Search Results, Archived Items, Recycle Bin), which offers Copy / Excel / PDF / Print of whatever is currently in that table. The main Explorer view doesn't have the "Export Results" button — use the Export page instead.

Dashboard — Reading the Numbers

The Dashboard summarises the state of your tracked items in one glance. The top row shows counts and your Compliance %; the middle row shows lifecycle buckets; the mini-calendar shows what's coming this month; the side table breaks down expirations by horizon and reminder type. Most counts are clickable and open Explorer filtered to that group — Compliance % is the one notable exception. Everything reflects the currently selected company (top-right selector).

How to Customize Your Dashboard

Dashboard customization in Remindax is focused: you can change the time windows on the two "expiring soon" KPI cards in the top row, but you can't add, remove, or reorder dashboard widgets. To change a card's window, click its three-dot menu and pick a different period (e.g. switch "In 2 Weeks" to "In 3 Weeks" or "In 1 Month").
