The Dashboard summarises the state of your tracked items in one glance. The top row shows counts and your Compliance %; the middle row shows lifecycle buckets; the mini-calendar shows what's coming this month; the side table breaks down expirations by horizon and reminder type. Most counts are clickable and open Explorer filtered to that group — Compliance % is the one notable exception. Everything reflects the currently selected company (top-right selector).

The top row of cards

  • Expired Items — items past their date and not marked complete. Click → Explorer filtered to expired items.
  • Completed — items renewed. Click → Explorer filtered to completed status.
  • Compliance — your compliance percentage. Calculated as (Total − Expired − Pending Action) ÷ Total. See How compliance % is calculated. Not clickable.
  • Pending Action — items awaiting handling; they reduce Compliance %. Click → Explorer filtered to pending status.
  • In [period 1] and In [period 2] — two customisable expiring-soon windows (e.g. "In 2 Weeks", "In 2 Months"). Each card has a menu where you change its window. Click → Explorer filtered to the selected period.
  • Total Items — your total tracked items. Archived items are excluded. Click → Explorer filtered to all reminder types.

The lifecycle row

  • Upcoming — items with no notification sent yet. Click → Explorer filtered to upcoming.
  • In Process — items where at least one sequence step has been sent. Click → Explorer filtered to in process.
  • Archived — items set aside, excluded from the tracked-item count. Click → Explorer Archive.
  • Inactive — items switched off, still counted in the plan. Click → Explorer filtered to inactive items.

See How reminder statuses work.

The mini-calendar

Each day with one or more expiring items shows a small red circular count bubble with the number. The current day is highlighted. Click a bubble to open the related items in Explorer/Calendar context.

The side breakdown table

For each reminder type — Expiration, Due Dates, Appointments, Events — the side table shows counts by horizon:

  • Expired / Past Due
  • In [period 1] (e.g. 2 Weeks)
  • In [period 2] (e.g. 2 Months)
  • Total

Each count cell is clickable and drills into Explorer filtered by that reminder type and period.

Lower panels

  • Document Type Usage — top 5 document types by item count (with an "Others" bar for the rest).
  • Tasks — your task workload snapshot (Open / To Do / In Progress / Review / Completed / Cancelled) with a recent-tasks list. Each task row links to the task detail view.
  • Recent Replies — recent recipient replies. Click a reply → opens the item's replies tab.
  • Recent Activity — recent workspace events (renewals, edits, status changes). Click an activity → opens the item's activity tab.

Note on Recent Activity / Recent Replies windows. The displayed labels and the actual content can diverge: Recent Activity shows the latest 5 rows even though it's labeled "Last 30 days"; Recent Replies shows replies from the last 30 days even though the label may say "Last 5." Use View All to open the full Activity or Replies report.

What happens next

  • Click any number, card, or row to drill into the underlying data — most dashboard elements are clickable.
  • Compliance % itself is not clickable; it's a summary metric only.
  • Switch companies via the top-right selector to see another workspace's dashboard.

Edge cases & gotchas

  • Compliance isn't clickable. Drill into Expired or Pending Action cards instead — they're the levers that change Compliance.
  • Counts won't sum cleanly to your total. Each bucket counts a specific state; they aren't meant to add up to Total Items.
  • Archived items are excluded from Total Items and Compliance — so archiving an expired item lifts your compliance %.
  • Each company has its own dashboard. A "missing" item is usually in another company.
  • Compliance dropped suddenly? Usually a batch expired, or expired items were imported.

Related questions

  • What does each number on the Dashboard mean? See the card-by-card breakdown above.
  • Can I click into the numbers to see the items? Yes for almost all of them — Compliance % is the only one that isn't clickable.
  • Why don't the numbers add up? Each bucket counts a specific state; they aren't meant to sum to the total.
  • What does Pending Action mean? Items awaiting handling — they reduce Compliance % until resolved.
  • Why is Compliance lower than I expected? Items expired or are in Pending Action. See How compliance % is calculated.
  • Why does Recent Replies say "Last 5" but seem to show more? It actually returns replies from the last 30 days; the label is a known display issue. Use View All for the full Replies report.
