To move reminders between folders, multi-select items in Explorer and use Move Selected in the bulk action toolbar. To manage attachments on a single reminder, edit the reminder and use the Attachments section — you can choose existing files from Drive Files, or use the Upload button to upload new files. Reminder attachments use Remindax Drive — there's no separate file size limit beyond your overall company storage.
Moving reminders between folders
Move multiple items (bulk)
- In Explorer, tick the checkboxes for the items you want to move.
- From the bulk action toolbar, choose Move Selected.
- Pick the destination folder.
- Confirm.
You can also include folders in your selection — moving a folder moves its contents with it, according to the folder move rules.
Move a single item
Use the bulk action with a single selected item — same workflow.
Managing attachments
Reminder attachments are managed on the reminder's edit screen, in the Attachments section.
Adding attachments from Drive (file picker)
- Open the reminder for editing (see Edit a reminder).
- Go to the Attachments section.
- Use the Drive Files picker to choose existing files from your workspace's Drive.
- The selected files appear in the Attached Files list.
- Save the reminder.
Adding attachments by upload
- In the Attachments section, click the Upload button.
- The File Upload modal opens.
- Choose one or more files from your computer.
- Files upload into Drive and become available as attachments.
- Save the reminder.
About drag-and-drop
The reminder's attachment area does not support drag-and-drop in the current product. Use the Upload button or the Drive Files picker.
(The standalone Drive module's upload UI does support drag-and-drop — see Upload files to Drive. The reminder attachment area doesn't.)
Removing an attachment
- Open the reminder for editing.
- In the Attachments section, deselect the file.
- Save.
Important: removing an attachment from a reminder removes the link between the reminder and that file. The file itself is NOT deleted from Drive — it remains in your Drive and can still be attached to other reminders or used independently.
To actually delete the Drive file, do that from the Drive module. See Drive overview.
Replacing an attachment
When you edit attachments, Remindax replaces the item's attachment links with the currently selected files. There's no separate version history for attachments on the reminder — past versions aren't preserved unless you keep them in Drive separately.
If you need to keep historical attachments (e.g., last year's insurance + this year's renewed copy), keep them as separate files in Drive and attach the current one only.
File types and size limits
- No separate file-type allowlist for reminder attachments. Remindax Drive accepts the file types it supports generally — common documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX), images, etc.
- No separate per-file size limit for reminder attachments. The constraints are your overall company storage and the normal server/upload limits (which apply globally).
If you're hitting upload errors or capacity issues, the question is usually company storage, not a reminder-specific limit.
What happens next
- Moves and attachment changes take effect immediately on save.
- Moving items can change their visibility — depending on how your team's folders map to departments.
- Attachments newly added are available immediately to anyone with access to the reminder.
Edge cases & gotchas
- No drag-and-drop on reminder attachments. Use the Upload button or Drive Files picker.
- Removing an attachment doesn't delete the Drive file. It only unlinks. Delete from Drive separately if needed.
- No attachment version history. Replacing attachments means the old links are gone. Preserve historical files in Drive if you need them.
- Bulk move includes folders. If you select folders in your bulk move, their contents move with them.
- Storage is company-wide. Hitting limits means freeing space in Drive (delete unused files, archive items), not per-reminder.
